A group of American pastors has warned that the release of extraterrestrial files by the Trump administration could pull people away from Christianity.
A group of Christian pastors has issued a stark warning that President Donald Trump’s release of “alien files” could disturb Christian beliefs.
The American pastors claimed that U.S. intelligence officials have held a series of meetings with them and told them to prepare churches to hold the Christian community together following the release of the files, according to the Daily Mail.
Evangelist pastor Perry Stone from Tennessee said that the alien files could include reports of extraterrestrial aircraft and could even include video footage.
“You’re going to have people who are going to say if there are galaxies and there are allegedly other creations in the galaxies, then the whole creation story is a myth, and you’re going to have people that’s going to apostatize and turn from the Christian faith because they have no answer for what they’re about to hear,” said Stone.
The response from the group of pastors comes several weeks after the president directed U.S. agencies, including Pete Hegseth’s Department of Defense, to identify and release government files on aliens and extraterrestrial life.
Trump has been consistently teasing the files for months and has hinted at what the highly sought-after files could reveal.
“We’re going to be releasing a lot of things that we haven’t,” Trump said last week. “I think some of it’s going to be very interesting to people.”
However, according to Stone, the revelation of the files could have a massive impact on the Christian faith and make the bible look like a myth. He believes the supposedly groundbreaking information could lead believers to “fall away” from the teachings of Christianity.
Other members of the group, including Bishop Alan DiDio of Revival Nation Church, suggested the Trump administration’s revelations are part of a larger plot to lead people away from Christianity.
Some top figures in the Trump administration have taken an anti-alien stance, including JD Vance, who called extraterrestrial beings “demons

For years, Americans have been writing and speaking about extraterrestrial life and have claimed that the U.S. government is keeping alien-related information top secret.
Unlike presidents before him, Trump has committed to releasing the information, saying in February that the Pentagon has been directed to release the files in response to “tremendous interest.”
